I read the last half of the book on a plane, but the whole thing is so emotional that it was a very poor choice of reading material. I'm so glad I've read it, though. "Code Name Verity" might be the best book I've read this year, and I truly enjoyed "Rose Under Fire" but I found it much more difficult emotionally to get through than "Code Name Verity". Did you have the same experience? I had to stop reading at points just to deal with the emotions prompted by events of the book.
